BWERANYANGI<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Saturday, 14\/03\/2020, the Bishop together with Diocesan\nadministration met the DREAM TEAM and members of the diocesan board of planning\nat Bweranyangi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The DREAM TEAM is composed of some members of the WAD Kampala\nChapter, who spearheaded the Bishops’ house construction and completed it in a\nshort period without organizing fundraising events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The purpose for the meeting was to see where they have reached with\nthe Bishops’ House project, have a fellowship and thank God as the hands-on\nteam, see more effort towards putting another shelter for a few Bishops’ staff\nmembers, and also have a look at what is in focus as far as development is\nconcerned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The team toured some part of Bweranyangi hill to see the ongoing projects. Here, the team appreciated the Bishop and his team for surpassing their expectations by doing many things in a short period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The head of construction committee, Mr. Katushabe Winstone\napplauded the Bishop for building and emphasizing teamwork, the reason\ndevelopment is faster at the diocesan headquarters and other parts of the\ndiocese. He pledged his support to the ongoing projects at the hill.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Yesse Mubangizi, the diocesan board\nof planning chairperson said that a master plan has been designed awaiting\napproval of the organs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The diocesan head of laity, Mr Willis Bashaasha called for a\ncommon understanding of how the Church runs so that personal differences are\nnot mixed with church business. He appealed to Christians to get on board and\nsupport the clergy and the Bishop for the betterment of West Ankole.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bishop Twinomujuni gave a brief of what his administration is\nfocusing on including the construction of state of the art diocesan hospital,\nbabies’ home and others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 He intimated to the\nmeeting that the ground is leveled for several projects to take shape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other speakers including the Kampala Chapter head of laity, Lay Canon Apollo Buzaare, Diocesan Chancellor, Mr Marvin Baryaruha called for cooperation and teamwork, effective communication and collective responsibility in all areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The team pledged full support to the leadership of the diocese\nand the ongoing projects and work towards a model diocese.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
