The Missions and Evangelism Department plays\na role of linking the grass root churches, the diocese and mission agencies. It\nalso coordinates Bible study groups and prayer meetings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The missions and evangelism department has\nbeen and is still key in organizing and supporting annual diocesan missions and\nother related events. In these programs, we hold workshops, conferences, and\nseminars. These are intertwined with special and regular prayer meetings and\nfellowships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In order to prepare our young children for\nministry and the future Church, the department heads and encourages Sunday\nschool development in Churches across the diocese. We do the same for the\nyouth, Mothers, and Fathers groups all aiming at having them participate\nactively in Church development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
All evangelical and mission teams in the\ndiocese are brought at the center under the board of missions where they come\nand work together as a team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We have prayed unceasingly for unity,\nreconciliation and steady growth of our Diocese under the theme Col 3:14 \u201cLove\nthat Unites\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Balokole teams are mobilized into prayer\nteams. This has strengthened quarterly Diocesan Balokole fellowships which are\nconducted in the Diocese.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We ensure building and strengthening ties\nbetween the Diocesan staff and Christians through conducting workshops seminars\nand trainings at various levels all over the Diocese. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
We also advocate and promote team work\nspirit amongst Bishop central staff through conducting daily fellowship in the\ncathedral, where Bishop\u2019s staff share the word of God, and pray together. This\nhas kept them strong spiritually.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our office supports Christians in their\nrelationship with Jesus Christ, help them to maintain healthy relationships\nwith Jesus through reading of Scriptures and Prayer, guide them in ensuring\nhealthy lifestyles in their homes, etc<\/p>\n\n\n\n
