Bernard Mushabe, Head of Department.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The education department is decidedly the gate way to\nmeaningful human growth and development in all aspects of human endeavor. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In recognition of this truth, the Education Department\nhas placed a high premium on this priority area given its great sensitivity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The area covered is part of the former greater Ankole\nregion that now covers the present five districts of Bushenyi Sheema,Mitooma,Rubirizi\nand Buhweju, where there are numerous schools, institutes and colleges with\ngreat productive potential if properly galvanized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">West Ankole Diocese has 260 Primary Schools, 57\nSecondary Schools, 5 technical and vocational institutes, One Farm Institute,\nOne Primary Teachers College, One Theological Institution and One University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The department is determined to ensure that the\nbenefits of Education are duly applied as a tool and key to unlock development\nand enlightened opportunities at glance. This will answer the question of what\nthe mission of the church is, to preach, teach and care (health) for total\nhuman development and well being.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The department focuses mainly on; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Improved\nacademic performance<\/li><li>Moral\nuprightness and integrity<\/li><li>Uncompromised\ndiscipline<\/li><li>Proper\ninterpersonal relationships among staff and all congregations.<\/li><li>Legally\nrecognized marriages among staff and all congregations and glorify God.
